HUNAR ONLINE FASHION ILLUSTRATION COURSES We are giving you an idea of wearing funky dress for this New Year eve: – Note that fashion illustrators usually exaggerate the height of their models by making their legs longer than their torso. His legs are also divided into two parts that are thighs and calves. The legs are the longest part of the body, about four heads long. Create the arm with a tapered line going to the elbow and then back to the wrist. The character’s arms should be slightly longer than they actually are. The feet must be approximately the same length as the head and be triangular in shape. You can easily tilt it up, down, left and right. Sketch the head so that it looks natural in the chosen pose. You can delete the first ellipse you created to represent the head. The width of the shoulders should be the same width as the square of the pelvis. The line should curve inwards at the waist and extend outwards to form the shoulders. From the top corners of the pelvic square he draws two lines up, forming the torso. Your shoulders should be as wide as your hips or the top of your pelvis, just like in a real human body. 3.Draw shouldersĭraw a long torso line up from the two corners of the pelvic square. If you want a normal standing model, draw the square upright and without left and right angles. Tilt the square slightly to the left if you want the model’s hips to tilt to the left. Tilt this pelvic square to the left or right, keeping in mind the desired pose. You can tilt it to create different poses. 2.Sketching pelvic sideĭraw a square just below the centre of the balance line to represent the pelvis. Don’t worry too much about creating an accurate looking model or adding features to your face. When designing clothes, you don’t need a proportional model because the clothes are on display, not the character’s drawing skills. Extend this line from the model’s head to the floor on which it is standing. The balance line should be a straight vertical line, even if you want the model to be posed at an angle. Let’s start with steps that will help you to draw and sketch any fashion dress: – Start Drawingīalance line also known as base line where the illustration starts. If you’re new to drawing clothes, try making drawings with our ready-made fashion templates. You can mark the various sections by drawing horizontal lines at 9 points of about 1 inch and 1/8th each. The first step in drawing is to mark the centerline of the balance of the figure. Sketching or Penciling is the first step in bringing your fashion creations to life. After the design concept is solidified, fashion illustrations can be added to drawings to medium textures, colours and accessories. Fashion drawing and sketches are more about clothing than drawing figures. Dress Designing refers to the combination of drawing, sketching and giving it a final face of a fashion dress. So I've been doing video for quite a while and I was curious if there are any video playback software alternatives that I am not thinking of. Pretty much the industry standard, I like its simplicity and reliability, but they have major problems keeping the software up to date with Apple OS releases and it's a little light on feature-set nowadays. They had mentioned a 64-bit version several years ago and now its nowhere to be found. More feature rich than Playback Pro, but since it comes from a house of worship background it isn't the most professional looking, and I personally find its interface to be a little convoluted. It also feels and seems less reliable than Playback Pro (find myself restarting it more than I want to because it starts to bug out at a certain point). I love this software for what it can and should be. Its interface is more streamlined than Pro Presenters', it's very powerful with its multi-screen capability. My problem with it is that it always feels buggy and unreliable to me, and when I've used it I've had not one but two backup systems in place because I really don't trust it. The best balance between professionalism and feature-set that I've found. The problem that I have with it is that it's a little inflexible and quick to setup in last minute situations. I've also done performance tests on the same machine, using the same media, across the above mentioned software, and Qlab was the quickest to drop frames, etc. So I was curious if there's any other software out there that is both reliable and feature-rich for use in a live production environment. I've tried programming this in timeline and dashboard and can't seem to get a good smooth playback.I would love something that has the multi-screen capabilities of Pro Video Player, but was a lot more reliable and robust. As in, pause two layers and play the other one. I've found that playback drops to 6-8fps when playing 3 layers together and key framing speed. I'll probably be removing most once we're set. I have a lot of media in the library as we're creating the show. Next layers (approx 4) playing back 3200x1200 videos rendered ProRes4444 with alpha or ProRes422 without The layers have masks on to cover appropriate sections of this spikey canvas screen. Top layer black PNG masked to fit the edges of this spiked screen I've got. Warping and masks can be now appied directly on your canvas, so you do not need multiple canvases any more. Hi everyone, Im trying to import SVG file masks, is it possible right what Im doing is not working. Weirdly the Lightware switch I'm going through is setup with a 50Hz EDID but mac won't let me choose anything but 60Hz and the projectors are getting 59.59Hz. I've got two 4:3 projectors hooked up, canvas is 3200 x 1200. I'm having a little trouble with videos not playing back well on this high powered machine I've hired! He told the Guardian the six titles by Theodor Geisel, who wrote under the pen name Dr Seuss, published between 19, which Dr Seuss Enterprises said it would cease printing, contained stereotypes of a clearly racist nature. Pro-America, of course, meant anti-Japanese - and some of Seuss's work in that period is tough to look at now: undeniably racist, portraying characters with grotesque facial features, mocking their accents, with dark themes of ingrained cowardice. You'd be hard-pressed to find many people who grew up in the early 20th century in America who hadn't internalised what we'd now consider pretty unhealthy views on race, gender roles, and so on.īut it's hard to defend some of Seuss's work, particularly during his career as a political cartoonist during the World War II when he essentially produced pro-America propaganda. crestfallen."īut, as is often the case, digging under the surface reveals a more nuanced picture.ĭr Seuss was born in the United States in 1904 - by just about any metric, a less enlightened time than today. Today on The Detail, Emile Donovan speaks to lawyer and writer Juliet Moses about viewing old literature through a modern lens, and separating the artist from the art. So, was there any justification to this decision? Is it, as they say, PC Gone Mad? Or is our emotional connection to these works blinkering the very real fact that what was suitable for children to read in the past may contain messaging which is harmful in 2021? Immediately, there was an outcry: many observers bemoaned what they saw as "cancel culture" extending to a figure many people hold dear in their hearts. Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr Seuss Enterprises's catalogue represents and supports all communities and families".
